Spotify for Artists helps musicians and bands manage their presence on Spotify, offering tools for audience growth, content promotion, and metric tracking. Due to security vulnerabilities, I was one of two designers tasked with improving user-friendly security measures for the platform.

I collaborated across missions to uncover insights through targeted discoveries and technical assessments, conducting a benchmark analysis with my design counterpart to map 2FA trigger points and establish a preliminary value proposition, leading to a kickoff workshop with over 12 stakeholders including product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Low awareness of account protection risks.
• Concerns about adoption due to perceived friction from added security measures.
• Shared accounts, i.e. sharing same email and password.
• Educate users on 2FA's importance and benefits.
• Simplify the 2FA implementation process to encourage adoption.
To encourage adoption, we created prompts educating users on the benefits and importance of enabling 2-step verification, raising awareness and guiding them through the process. Highlighting its advantages empowers users to secure their accounts effectively.
To ensure the security of artist accounts while enhancing their overall experience, we developed and tested a prototyped flow through user testing. This process was designed to validate the effectiveness of our security measures while ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience.
Throughout the process, I iterated the design continuously to incorporate feedback from numerous stakeholders. To support implementation, I created Loom videos, especially due to time differences, to effectively communicate and guide the development team under tight deadlines.
Backstage.io is an open-source platform created by Spotify to simplify and streamline software development, offering a unified interface for tools, services, and documentation to facilitate project management and collaboration. As the responsible product designer, I enhanced self-service capabilities for internal group management, boosting productivity and user experience.

Given the broad scope of group management, it required multiple brainstorming sessions to effectively break down and formulate conversion goals for creating and managing groups based on insights into high-level requirements and stakeholder needs.
• Unsorted groups cause tracking issues despite correct cost center assignments.
• Group placement misalignments are due to systemic challenges, not human error.
• Non-technical team members lack access to the group management tool.
• Simplify and Enhance Group Management.
• Reduce Maintenance and Legacy Issues.
With high-level user experience goals in mind, I hosted an Object-Oriented UX Workshop to collaboratively define a structure based on user activity needs and functional requirements with engineers. But also to define the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and clarify what was out of scope.
To better understand where users typically find Band Manager as a tool and to establish performance metrics to exceed, I conducted user interviews to clarify our hypotheses and overall user expectations.
Based on the hypothesis that non-technical users needed better access to group management, I created two prototypes: one integrated within the technical platform and another scaled down for non-VPN access. Following usability tests, both versions were approved to meet the needs of both user groups.
Futur, a pension fund company in the Swedish market, sought guidance on aligning with customer needs through repositioning their brand values and optimizing service offerings. As the lead designer one of three designers, I spearheaded the design process to support their growth initiatives.
• Design Lead
• UX and UI
• Service Design
• Workshop Facilitation
• Internal: Managers, Product Owners, Designers, Development teams, Sales and Customer support.
• External: B2B and BC2 end-users.
• Disparity in digital workspaces across the organization.
• Multiple services built separately with no coherence within the ecosystem
• Lack of data tracking and understanding of user-centric needs.
• Enhance cross-collaboration
• Accelerate impactful deliveries
• Shape a quality-driven design framework
• Establish a user insights framework
I structured Figma for multiple ongoing projects, enabling employees to view design efforts, communicate changes, and make adjustments on the go, and enabled FigJam for enhanced creative documentation.
To establish a reusable user-centric approach, I created storyboard templates for optimizing existing and new product features to align users with technical owners. Using them in a service blueprint simplified highlighting impacts on user journey and feature functionality.
Stay focused, work hard, know your numbers, and be disciplined. If you do those things and take care of your people, the likelihood of being successful is very, very high. -Marcus Lemonis
Futur, a Swedish pension fund company, aimed to better align with customer needs by repositioning their brand values and enhancing service offerings. Leading the user research efforts, I guided a team of two designers to drive these growth initiatives and ensure a customer-centric approach.

• Low user login frequency
• Challenges in analyzing user behaviors
• Reliance on manual processes or integrating new technologies can causing inefficiencies and service delays.
• Understand login motivations for personalized interactions.
• Proactively boost interaction and satisfaction.
• Expand self-service options using tech and user insights for user satisfaction and reduced support costs.
I established a diverse user pool within our existing end-users through customer satisfaction and recruiting surveys. Users and email addresses were pulled from an internal database, considering demographics and capital of funds.
Using spreadsheet filtering on survey responses provided a comprehensive overview of the target audience, facilitating easy segmentation based on age, risk level, estimated funds, and occupation.
Conducting sessions to explore scope, identify opportunities, and analyze impactful hypotheses has helped craft an innovative design concept and facilitate actionable user research.
In preparing for the user study, I set session schedules, crafted a detailed test manual, designed templates for live feedback and interviews, and created a synthesis board template, gathering valuable insights for our design and development.
Within the research framework, I developed a slide deck to effectively summarize insights and present both quantitative and qualitative data, streamlining organization-wide sharing.
Overall Impression Increase in Satisfaction Rating from 3 to 4.5 out of 5, Likert scale:
• Ease of Navigation improved from 3 to 4.5
• Information Quality increased from 3.5 to 4
• Content Quality enhanced from 3 to 4
• Functionality Rating improved from 3 to 4
• Visual Design Rating rose from 2 to 4.5
An ongoing project. Internal planning tool to move away from Excel. Together with a colleague (backend in database and server), I have developed frontend HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery based on Node.js for our booking/production planning.
Campaign site for Audiobooks and "Punktskriftsförlaget". In this project, I worked on both the front and backend (PHP, jQuery/JavaScript, HTML & CSS), implementing a responsive website based on client-provided sketches.
Responsive website for a sushi restaurant in Stockholm. I generated the concept based on field studies conducted during my Interaction Design degree, and subsequently implemented the site in jQuery/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
